A picture taken by my sister Imke with me in it. Yes, really. OK, I’m not visible, you just have to believe me, I’m behind the bigger splash just right of centre in the wave at the front. This was when I went swimming and splashing in the waves in Machir Bay off Kilchoman beach.

Found another good picture (I think) my sister Imke took when I went for some wild swimming and splashing in Machir Bay off Kilchoman beach. That’s me splashing about in the waves breaking as they approach the beach, looking far deeper than it actually was. As there can be dangerous currents I always stayed in shallow water, being able to stand if necessary.

At the southern end of Kilchoman beach during an incoming tide. A wave rolling in and breaking as it reaches the beach between rocks and cliffs. Taken after a careful swim, standing out in the waves.
