Out on a late morning walk on Kilchoman beach on the west coast of Islay in November 2025. The low sun is breaking though the dramatic clouds on the horizon, creating a moody light over the crags, dunes, beach and bay.

A November morning walk on Kilchoman beach, clouds moving past rapidly over the Kilchoman dunes and crags. When the sun managed to break through the clouds I managed to take this picture in the wonderful light the low sun through the clouds created.
