It’s often worth staying a bit longer after sunset to enjoy the beautiful mild colours of the gloaming, the last light after sunset. This is the gloaming after the summer solstice sunset over Islay and Jura seen from the west coast of Gigha. Also notice the crescent moon which has appeared in the sky towards the left.
