Bunnahabhain and the Sound of Islay hidden by the haze in the distance. If you look closely you can just make out the tops of the Paps of Jura appearing above the haze.
When McArthur’s Head lighthouse was still manned the lighthouse keepers certainly had some stunning views on a clear day. Towards the left the Sound of Islay stretches into the distance, Sgarbh Breac (364m) to the left of the lighthouse. Across the sound the south coast of the Isle of Jura with the Paps of Jura towards the centre of the picture.
