Admittedly this could be anywhere, so you have to trust me this was over Loch Gorm on Islay. I believe it’s some kind of RAF jet on a training exercise, that’s all I can work out.

Blink and you’ve missed it. Fighter jets are rather fast, only just managed to catch this one in a picture as it shot over Islay, turning over Machir Bay. This was in October (2011), considering all the Geese and Swans arriving around that time I’m not sure it’s such a good idea to practice flying low over Islay at that time?
