Out on Kilchoman beach for a walk to the southern end during a late November 2025 storm. Big waves are rolling in from the Atlantic, breaking over the cliffs sending spray high in the air.

A November morning on the west coast of Islay, arriving on Kilchoman beach after walking over the dune path. Walking out on the beach and rounding the dunes the view opens up to the south, over to the crags with the old radar station at Kilchiaran.

Spotted during a walk on Kilchoman beach, a good number of cattle and sheep had gathered on the top of a hill north of Machir Bay. I’m not entirely sure, but I think this is Carn Mòr (56m) west of Coull Farm.
