A late afternoon / early evening in Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay. Waves rolling in and breaking over the rocks in the April sunshine. Foam created by the wave action swirling around the rocks. Clouds moving fast across the sky. An ever changing view.

At the southern end of Saligo Bay, next to where Saligo River runs into the Atlantic, is a rocky area with small sandy patches mixed in. It’s fun to explore, providing many different views. Here’s a view out to where the waves from the Atlantic meet with the water from Saligo River. Taken on a breezy day in April 2017.
