
Something that amused me for an hour or so a few years back, balancing stones in Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay (see also 1 and 2). Either I destroyed it there and then or the next high tide just washed it away.

Another attempt at the bright Moon rising over the Saligo dunes in June 2019. Same as the other picture it doesn’t do it justice, the sight of the Moon rising just behind the gap in the dunes, being cradled by the dunes, but I hope it at least gives an idea.
