In the north west of Islay is Sanaigmore. The building on the left is now a holiday cottage, called Stable Cottage. On the right is Outback Art, an art gallery and cafe, good place to visit and rest after a walk at Sanaigmore Bay.

One of the lesser known beaches on Islay, the beach at Port Ghille Greamhair near Sanaigmore. It’s quite well hidden between the low hills around it and you can only really see it when you’re almost on it.
