A view long gone, the view down Port Askaig brae as it looked back in April 2003. The road has been widened, moved slightly and generally was made safer. Nevertheless, the view across the Sound of Islay to the Paps of Jura remains magnificent.
Taken not long after it was finished, a panoramic view of the waiting/marshalling (not entirely sure what they call it officially?) area in Port Askaig in 2005. The Sound of Islay on the left, you can spot the Islay lifeboat to the left of the tall tree.
