The Stoat I spotted in the gardens of Kilchoman Cottages is worth another picture, here it seems to be checking out the flowers in the flower beds at the end of the garden.

Sometimes you don’t have to venture far to see wildlife on Islay. For this one I only had to step out of the door of the holiday cottage. I had noticed a Stoat running along a wall twice, but hadn’t a camera to hand in time. Then one afternoon I noticed it running past the glass door. Grabbed a camera and opened the door. Spotted it in the “garden” of the neighbouring cottage and managed to take a few pictures
