Spotted during a visit to Laphroaig distillery, a Swallow sitting on a rain gutter at the top of the maltings in some beautiful April sunshine.

Must admit I don’t know what this Swallow photographed in June 2025 is bringing back and for what exactly. It seems to be some kind of stick, some grass seeds and some mud? Not sure if it was for nest building or to somehow feed the young ones?
