Low tide providing easy access to the wreck, allowing this view from very low to the ground. Also some dramatic clouds in the distance, but they passed without bringing any rain.

Rope and wreck in Machir Bay, Isle of Islay

Image

Picture of a wreck on a beach, next to it a piece of frayed ropeAfter the winter storms hitting the west coast of Islay in the winter 2014/2015 the wreck in Machir Bay is the most exposed I can remember, a lot of sand having been washed away. On an April morning a frayed roped was washed up close to it, providing some colour to the scene.
