One of Islay’s slightly lesser known (as it is not visible from a public road) yet very popular beaches. These are the singing Sands near Kilnaughton, reached via a short track past the Port Ellen lighthouse. Ireland is just visible in the distance.

This is still my favorite for this week. Next time I’m on Islay, I’ll try to visit this beach as well! Hopefully with the same amount of sun.
Certainly worth it, especially on a sunny day. Your daughter will love it as well, great place to play and run around and discover. The path over the hill from lighthouse isn’t far, so you can get there without any problems
