Peaty burn at the south of Machir Bay, Isle of Islay

Picture of a small burn with slightly peaty brown water running over a beach

A scene from the southern end of Machir Bay, after rain over night a burn running down from the hills is flowing into the sea. While not as strong as in some other places on Islay you can detect a peaty brown hue in the water, as some of the peat is washed down from the hills.
