On the way from the Loch Indaal coastal path down to Port Flora. A nice morning view just after sunrise, looking north east over the loch. The Paps of Jura also visible in the distance towards the left.

Think so
That’s what it’s called on the 1:25k os ma, although everyone calls it port bhan. The botanist foundation is looking into putting a wildlife and geology information board at the gate and we’ll use port bhan also repairing the path.
Brilliant!

Weird. No one calls it that.
No i never heard it called port flora but there are 3 bays around port ban ( dad calls 1 of them cow bay as so often cows in it) so maybe it is a name for one of the three. ?
