A beautiful November morning on the west coast of Islay. Some very shallow water on Kilchoman beach, left from a wave which had run over earlier. The bright morning sun rising over the crags reflecting on the wet sand.
The waves in Saligo Bay, rolling in from the Atlantic, rarely stop pounding the shore and beach. They also all look different, even though they sometimes look similar. This picture was taken just minutes, maybe seconds from this picture of crashing waves in south Saligo Bay. Similar, but not the same.
Walking through the Kilchoman dunes on a November morning for a walk on Kilchoman beach. Allt Gleann na Ceardaich is snaking through the dunes before running across the beach into Machir Bay and the Atlantic.
