Walking through the Kilchoman dunes on a November morning for a walk on Kilchoman beach. Allt Gleann na Ceardaich is snaking through the dunes before running across the beach into Machir Bay and the Atlantic.

Out off Kilchoman beach in November 2025, standing next to Allt Gleann na Ceardaich as it runs over Kilchoman beach into Machir Bay. The southern bank shows some nice signs of erosion, not sure if from wind or water or both.

A different angle of the two burns joining on Kilchoman beach, looking from the side. Allt Gleann na Ceardaich in front of us, flowing sideways along the beach. Allt na Crìche joining it from the right, coming in from Loch Gorm, before they flow into Machir Bay and the Atlantic.
