Spotted above Port Charlotte on an April morning, a small passenger plane on the approach to Islay International Airport. I think it might be a Hebridean Air Services plane, but I’m not sure. Quite like how the clouds form a ring around the plane.

It all looked very promising driving down the Kilchoman road on an April evening, some nice evening sun over Loch Gorm and Saligo. But when I arrived at Kilchoman beach it turned pretty much into a non-event. While I made my way through the dunes the sun disappeared behind the clouds on the horizon.

A view from the road to Bunnahabhain, high above the Sound of Islay. On the left the northern tip of Islay with Rhuvaal lighthouse just visible behind the hills. In the background Colonsay visible in the haze (possibly also Oronsay and Mull, not entirely sure)
