The rocks and gullies at the southern end of Kilchoman beach are always interesting to explore. Here I’m looking back over my footprints in the smooth sand between the rocks.

An April afternoon on the west coast of Islay, out on a walk in Saligo Bay. Some beautiful smooth rocks (and a rusty old metal ball) embedded in the sand of the beach with some nice sunshine breaking through the scattered clouds.

Seen between some rocks/cliffs at Currie Sands, the Rhinns of Islay lighthouse on Orsay off Port Wemyss/Portnahaven.
