Not exactly a rare bird, but still a very popular bird, the Robin. I quite like the look of it sitting on top of the yellow flowers on the Gorse.

I’m not entirely sure what this pair of Lapwings was doing, although I’m guessing it was some kind of mating ritual. Watched from the bird hide at Islay’s RSPB Loch Gruinart.
