Imke at Rhuvaal lighthouse in 2013, Isle of Islay

During a visit in summer 2013 my sister and I went for a walk around the north coast of Islay, among other places seeing Rhuvaal lighthouse. We also walked through the arch below the lighthouse.

Sunrise had been over an hour before, by the time I took this picture at 6:00 o’clock the Sun had already risen quite a bit over Loch Indaal. The view is from Shore Street next to the hotel, the Loch Indaal lighthouse visible just left of centre.
