A couple of times on my return journey from Islay I stopped in the Lake District in England. At least twice if not more often I visited Granny Dowbekin’s Tearooms in Pooley Bridge for a nice cream tea. Well worth it.
Still quite some distance to cover to Islay when I had this view of a June sunset on the M6, somewhere between Stoke-on-Trent and Liverpool/Manchester. Still a nice memory from the many journeys to Islay.
