A view from the journey to Islay, reminding you that you’re getting closer to your destination. The view is down the coastline on the south eastern side of West Loch Tarbert. I quite like the outcrop with the lone tree, not sure if it has a name and if it does what it is.
A memory from a journey to Islay in November 2022. Having arrived at Kennacraig for the ferry to Port Ellen I enjoyed this cloudy yet beautiful down West Loch Tarbert while waiting for the ferry to arrive to take me to Islay. No sight of Islay just yet, but a glimpse of Gigha in the distance.
