An overcast November afternoon on the Rhinns of Islay, a hazy view over Loch Indaal. In front of us Port Charlotte’s OK rock, just a few feet off the rocky shore.

A view of the cairn erected in memory of the late Fraser Shaw, near the Octomore spring overlooking Gleann Mòr leading towards Port Charlotte and Loch Indaal on the Rhinns of Islay. If you look closely you can also make out Abhainn Gearach flowing down the glen.

A view from the journey to Islay, reminding you that you’re getting closer to your destination. The view is down the coastline on the south eastern side of West Loch Tarbert. I quite like the outcrop with the lone tree, not sure if it has a name and if it does what it is.
