Tidal waters rushing over and between some low rocks between Lunga and Scarba. Eilean a’ Bhealaich on the left, Scarba on the right, mainland Argyll in the distance. The much smaller sibling of the famous Corryvreckan whirlpool on the other side of Scarba.

A view of the racing tide between Scarba and Lunga (if I remember correctly Scarba on the left, Lunga on the right). While its much much bigger sibling Corryvreckan Whirlpool is of course much more famous this is a place I think should get much more appreciation. The changing tide being forced through a very narrow channel producing some fascinating currents and tidal races.
