One of my favourite views on Islay, the view over Machir Bay and Kilchoman beach from the dunes at the southern end of the beach. It’s both familiar yet different every single time. The bay and the beach stretching out into the distance, the endless skies cloudy or blue, just an amazing view.

A bright sunny April afternoon on the Rhinns of Islay, at the shore of Loch Gorm, the largest loch on the island. The small settlement of Carnduncan on the hill towards the right.
