An April morning on the west coast of Islay, out for a walk on Kilchoman beach with waves rolling in from Machir Bay. Managed to catch this small wave breaking on the beach in some mild morning light.

The rocks and gullies at the southern end of Kilchoman beach are always interesting to explore. Here I’m looking back over my footprints in the smooth sand between the rocks.
