A wonderful evening at Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay, probably one of the best I’ve ever had. With the last light of the day slowly fading away during the gloaming, the stars are starting to appear in the clear evening sky. A few amazing minutes in April 2012.
A beautiful sunset on Islay watched in April 2012 from the road to Kilchoman. Loch Gorm in the foreground, Saligo Bay behind with Saligo Cottage just left of centre.
A November sunset on Islay, watched in Saligo Bay. Some nice waves were rolling into the bay, some breaking on the cliffs at the southern end sending spray high into the air. Some big dark clouds were moving in as well, but luckily just too late to hide the sunset.
