A November afternoon at Laphroaig distillery, just outside the visitor centre. While not the most exciting sunset I still enjoyed the sliver of bright sky on the horizon around the time the sun set.
While the setting sun isn’t visible in the picture (that’s just to the right outside of view) we do get some beautiful sunset light in this view from the Loch Indaal coastal path. The Oa with the American Monument on the Mull of Oa in the distance on the other side of Loch Indaal. Much closer to us the Loch Indaal lighthouse just right of centre.
A November afternoon on the west coast of the Rhinns of Islay, sunset at Kilchiaran. At another time the sun will set behind Kilchiaran Bay, when I took this picture in mid November it sets behind the hills on the Rhinns of Islay. The ruin of Kilchiaran Chapel on the right.
