A beautiful November afternoon in Saligo Bay on the west coast of Islay. Some great waves rolling in from the Atlantic, breaking as the approach the rugged rocky shore and beach.

At the end of a great walk to the old radar station at Kilchiaran I stopped at the old wreck of the Patti (an early steamship wrecked in the 1840s). The low November afternoon sun provided some beautiful mild golden light, reflecting on the wet sand and water.
