Another picture from me going wild swimming in Machir Bay off Kilchoman beach, here my sister Imke captured me splashing around a bit in the waves. In this picture it might look like I’m in deep water, but rest assured I wasn’t. As there can be dangerous currents in Machir Bay I made sure I stayed close to the shore and was always able to stand.
Out on a June late evening walk around sunset on the dunes at the war cemetery. Spotted these interesting clouds over the crags between Kilchoman and Kilchiaran.

You can make out Port Askaig on the left as well as the famous Paps of Jura on the right. Sgarbh Breac on Islay also in the distance towards the left, but Rhuvaal lighthouse is too far to make out.
