A beautiful sunny June day on the Rhinns of Islay a few years ago. I was on a walk from near Claddach along the coast to Lossit Bay. This view is from the earlier section of the walk, looking back south west towards Frenchman’s Rocks (centre distance).
Spotting the shadow might be slightly easier than the bird, which is in front of the rocks top centre. I’m not sure what the bird is, if it’s actually a Golden Eagle or just a Tourist Eagle (aka Buzzard). The picture is a bit older and the other pictures I have aren’t very good, so I’m struggling to judge size etc. Spotted on the west coast of the Rhinns of Islay just south of Lossit Bay.
