A view over two of the beaches at Port Bàn on the Rhinns of Islay. Loch Indaal stretching out behind them with the Oa just visible in the far distance right of centre.

One of the best views I’ve ever had from a holiday home, the morning view from the Temperance House in Port Charlotte on the Rhinns of Islay. The Port Charlotte Hotel on the right, towards the left the former Port Charlotte distillery buildings now housing the youth hostel and the Islay Natural History Trust. In front of it some more old distillery buildings as of writing this being converted into a home. In the distance you can also spot the Lochindaal lighthouse.
