A beautiful sunny April 2026 afternoon on the south coast of Islay. Standing above the shore of Loch Laphroaig we get a great view over the loch in the bright sunshine with the famous Laphroaig distillery with its white buildings along the opposite shore.
An early spring view along the Loch Indaal Way coastal path on a sunny April Sunday, near Bruichladdich if I remember correctly. Some nice colourful flowers below the remains of an old drystone wall. Just a nice spot that caught my eye.
The sunset wasn’t the most exciting, but the gloaming after it turned out rather nice. Above the Saligo dunes some dark blue sky, out on the horizon over the Atlantic the distant clouds turned into a dramatic fire of reds and oranges. It didn’t last long, but looked amazing while it lasted.
