A view from the southern half of Kilchoman beach, looking south towards the entrance to Kilchiaran bay. Three gulls circling around, I particularly like the low flying one skimming the beach left of centre.

Out on Kilnaughton beach for a lunchtime walk in late November 2025. The centre of Port Ellen with the ferry pier and small boats port nicely visible across the bay. If you look closely you can just spot the tops of the hills on Arran in the far distance.
