Following the view of Bowmore and Port Charlotte from Beinn Tart a’Mhill we turn right and now look out to the Oa with the Mull of Oa and the American Monument on the right. In the distance on the left also some of the hills of Kintyre.
A beautiful June evening on Islay, the visiting Flying Dutchman is tied up at Bruichladdich pier (she had arrived earlier that evening, after travelling past the Rhinns of Islay lighthouse and Frenchman’s Rocks). The Mull of Oa with the American Monument in the background.
