Hares can be seen in many places on Islay, this one I spotted at the dunes at Ardnave. It sat still just long enough for me to take this pictures, a few seconds after I pressed the shutter button it was gone.

An impression from an Islay walking week a couple of years ago. The walk was to Ardnave Point, walking out mainly along the beach facing Loch Gruinart (you can see Killinallan Point in the background). We don’t know who built it, but on the way we came across this impressive sandcastle.
