Taken during a walk from Ardnave Loch to Ardnave Point, a view back into Loch Gruinart on a nice June afternoon on Islay.

A panoramic view of the dunes on the west side of Ardnave. Nave island in the distance on the left.

A different view of Loch Gruinart at Ardnave, not from the top of the dunes, not from the beach either, but from somewhere half way, from a gap in the dunes. It’s low tide in the loch with sandbanks visible almost all the way. Killinallan Point visible across the loch, also the tops of the Paps of Jura on the horizon.
