I watched this Ringed Plover running around on a small beach at Craighouse on Jura, kicking up sand as it ran.

On my detour from Evans Walk I climbed up to the summit of Corra Bheinn (573m), from where I had great views over two (the third was hidden from view from here) of the famous Paps of Jura. Beinn Shiantaidh (757m) straight ahead, Beinn an Oir (785m) behind it to the right. The Bay of Small Isles in the distance on the left. The entrance to Loch Tarbert just visible behind Corra Bheinn on the right.
