A view from Bowmore over a calm Loch Indaal on Islay to the three Paps of Jura. One of them, Beinn a’ Chaolais, in the shade of a cloud, the other two in some nice mild sunshine. If you look closely you can also spot the John Francis Campbell monument just in front of Beinn a’ Chaolais.

An Islay walking week excursion to Islay’s neighbour Jura back in 2007, here the walkers are taking a break near Imir an Aonaich between Beinn an Oir (785m, behind the walkers on the right) and Beinn Shaintaidh (not in the picture, to the right). Beinn a’ Chaolais (733m) in the centre distance.
