Must admit I don’t know what kind of tree this is, I just thought it is photogenic. Spotted during a walk along the main track through Bridgend Woods on a cloudy June day.

You can’t see it from this angle, but this is a view from the banks of the River Sorn in Bridgend Woods. A meadow full of buttercups on one side of the river, a beautiful majestic big tree in full June foliage on the other side.

An April view in Bridgend Woods, plenty Bluebells on the ground. In the background the walls along the road between Bridgend and the Rhinns of Islay. Not to forget in the distance the Round Church in Bowmore (admittedly not in focus, but still easily recognisable)
