Remembering John MacLellan, Isle of Islay

Picture of John MacLellan when at Bunnahabhain distillery A slightly unusual post for this blog, but I felt it was the right thing to do. On Easter 2016 John MacLellan, known to many through his work at Bunnahabhain and Kilchoman distilleries, sadly passed away after a long illness. One of my lasting memories of John is from his time at Bunnahabhain distillery, were he always welcomed us back with a wee dram from the Islay walking week walks in the area. Here he is pouring a wee dram for one of the walkers returning from a walk from Gortantaoid to Rhuvaal and finishing at Bunnahabhain in 2008. Thank you John.
