Three Whooper Swans passing high over Bunnahabhain on a clear bright sunny day. Yes, I know, this could have been anywhere, but trust me, this was at Bunnahabhain.
While returning to Bunnahabhain from a walk in the north of Islay I was presented with this view as I was approaching Margadale River: Sheep using the footbridge to cross the river.
A view from the ferry travelling up the Sound of Islay towards Colonsay, just as Bunnahabhain distillery comes into view. On the left the remains of the wreck of the Wyre Majestic, slowly rusting away in the harsh conditions.
