Gigha beach and a view of Cara Island

A view from the beach at Port na Carraigh at the southern end of Islay’s neighbour Gigha. I don’t know if the burn running across the beach has a name (nothing on the OS map). Lots of stones, rocks and even boulders around, as well as seaweed and more. In the distance you can also spot Cara Island.

A June late evening view from near the southern end of Gigha, looking over to Cara Island with the Kintyre mainland in the background. Taken on an evening walk to the watch the sunset from Gròb Bàgh.
