A view from a bright and sunny spring day on the Rhinns of Islay a few years ago, standing near the wave power station at Claddach. The view goes across Eilean Mhic Coinnich to Orsay, where the lighthouse helps to guide the ships. Also note the big foghorn on the right.
I’m not sure from where exactly I took this picture, but it’s north of Portnahaven, somewhere in the Claddach area. Probably somewhere close to the wave power station. The rocks out in the sea are Frenchman’s Rocks. A hazy sunset approaching in April 2005.
