A view from a walk around the Portnahaven area, coming up to a stone beach north of Portnahaven with the houses around Claddach visible on the other side. If you look closely you can also make out the Corrie Sands beach towards the top left.
Following on from the June sunset from Four Winds on the Rhinns of Islay this is how looked not long after the sunset. It’s even more difficult now, but if you look very closely you can just pick out the Currie Sands towards the right in the middle distance.
I really like the light and colours of the gloaming, I think it’s often nicer than the sunset light. What do you think?
