During a crossing to Islay from Kennacraig the Fast Rescue Craft of the MV Hebridean Isles has been lowered down for an exercise, here it is speeding off.

It’s been a ruin for many years now, to my knowledge well beyond repair. The ruin of Kildalton Castle on the south coast of Islay, two miles or so from Ardbeg. Only visible from the ferry or from Fairy Hill.
