Every year during the Islay Sessions in November on the Sunday morning people meet up to remember the late Fraser Shaw, the driving force behind the early sessions. For the first few years after his passing this took place in Bruichladdich, now it is at Fraser’s Cairn above the Octomore spring in Gleann Mòr.

This picture shows only a small part of the people who turned up, having a chat next to the cairn while others were still arriving.
