The floods at the top of Loch Gruinart are mostly populated by birds, but sometimes other animals can be spotted as well, like this deer. It was mostly picking its way through on the higher parts, avoiding the lower areas.
Watched from the old/south hide, a Snipe in the grass next to the water of the floods.
A slightly unusual sight in June, as normally the Whooper Swans only pass through during their migration in Autumn. Spotted this one at Gruinart on a bright sunny June day.
